LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne announced the addition of a Greek player to their roster. The deal has been signed for the next two seasons.
The power forward spent last season in the NBA with Los Angeles Lakers where averaged 0.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game (15 contests). He also represented Greece national team in the FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Victoria, Canada. The 23-year-old (2.08) scored 3.3 points and grabbed 1.5 rebounds in 4 games.
Kostas was drafted 60th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 NBA draft. Then his draft rights were traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Eventually, Antetokounmpo joined the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he won the NBA championship in 2020.
His brothers Giannis, Thanasis, and Alex are also professional basketball players.
