Real Madrid announced the signing of point guard Nigel Williams-Goss. Both sides have agreed to a two-year contract.
After playing for the Washington Huskies and Gonzaga Bulldogs in the NCAA, Williams-Goss was selected 55th in the 2017 NBA Draft.
However, Williams-Goss did not make his debut in the NBA and spent his first pro seasons with Partizan NIS Belgrade. The 1.91 m playmaker made his EuroLeague debut in 2018 with Olympiakos Piraeus.
The following year, Williams-Goss returned back to the States and spent one season in Utah. He played nine games for the Jazz (1.6 PPG) and G League's Salt Lake City Stars (15.3 PPG).
Last season Williams-Goss played in Russia. He averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 19.0 EFF for Lokomotiv Kuban in the EuroCup last year.
