Zenit St Petersburg are strengthening their frontcourt and will sign Jordan Mickey to a one-year deal, Eurohoops’ Antonis Stroggylakis reports.
Former Khimki Moscow Region forward was approached by six EuroLeague clubs, but ultimately the American decided to stay in Russia.
Xavi Pascual sees Mickey as a power forward – position, which Mickey prefers more than a center.
Mickey, 26, will be the fifth addition to the St Petersburg club. Zenit already signed Conner Frankamp, Jordan Loyd, Sergey Karasev, and Dmitry Kulagin.
In the previous EuroLeague season, Mickey averaged 15.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 16.5 PIR in 28 games played.
