In January 2021, Roanne's player Boubacar Toure was disqualified for punching Metropolitans 92 forward Miralem Halilovic in the French Basketball League (LNB). The Senegalese center will now have to face legal trouble for his actions. A French court deemed Toure's outburst to be against the law and sentenced the player to a 10-month suspended sentence in jail.
