Virtus Segafredo Bologna guard Isaia Cordinier has been having a strong season in the EuroLeague, gaining attention from many teams.
Virtus GM Paolo Ronci commented on Cordinier’s future during a press conference on Wednesday, stating that the guard, who will be a free agent at the end of the season, is receiving interest from multiple teams. Ronci also mentioned that the club will try to find a solution to keep him on the roster this offseason.
"Isaia has had four fantastic seasons with us. He's receiving interest from many teams, and we've had several NBA scouts in Bologna over the past few months watching him," Ronci said.
"We're going to talk with him at the end of the season, but we're very happy with the path he's taken. He came from a smaller team like Nanterre and has become a very important player for us," he added.
This season, Cordinier has been a key player for Virtus, averaging 12.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
