The ACB and the City of Valencia have reached an agreement for the city to host the next two editions of the Spanish Cup in 2026 and 2027
Valencia will host the Copa del Rey in 2026 (19-22 February) and 2027 (date to be confirmed), with the brand new Roig Arena as the venue.
The agreement between the ACB and the local municipality will also bring the complete Endesa Mini Cup to the city.
The Copa del Rey will be played at the new Roig Arena, which is in its final stages of construction and will be one of the most modern arenas with the largest capacity in Europe, hosting Valencia Basket matches starting next season.
The arrival of the Copa del Rey in Valencia will also contribute to the reconstruction after the difficult times experienced in recent months, and will rehabilitate damaged courts so that basketball can be played again as soon as possible.
The agreement between the ACB and the City of Valencia was signed last Tuesday, March 11.
