Wong would be coming to Zalgiris to replace Lonnie Walker IV, who recently used his NBA exit clause and signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Zalgiris are making roster moves ahead of the EuroLeague signing deadline, which is set for February 26th at 18:00 CET.
Recently waived by the Hornets, Wong signed a two-way deal with Charlotte on December 2.
He played 20 NBA games, averaging 6.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists while shooting 39.4% from three.
In one of his final outings, he scored 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting against the Pistons.
Wong also played seven G League games with Salt Lake City, averaging 26.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.5 steals.
He earned G League Player of the Week honors in November after a 41-point performance and a 27.8 PPG stretch over four games.
