Dolomiti Energia Trento complete an upset 79-63 victory over Olimpia Milano to win the Italian Cup.

Coppa Italia brought us a new surprise, as Dolomiti Energia Trento managed to upset Olimpia Milano with an outstanding 79-63 win.

Trento was led by 23 points of Jordan Ford, followed up by 14 scored by Quinn Ellis and 12 of Anthony Lamb. 8 points by Eigirdas Zukauskas and Saliou Niang who also had 9 and 7 rebounds respectively.

Nikola Mirotic was the player to watch in Olimpia as he scored almost one third of all Olimpia's points with 20. Zach LeDay was the only other player of Milanese squad in double digits with 12.

Trento wins their first major trophy in the history of the team, as they had one Serie B and one LegaDue Cup (all 2nd tier competitions) in the trophy room.
