Bad news for FC Barcelona fans, as their leading scorer Kevin Punter suffered a shoulder injury that will keep him sidelined for at least couple of weeks.
The club officially announced that Kevin Punter suffered an aggravation of his left shoulder biceps tendinopathy during the Copa del Rey quarter-final game against Tenerife they lost 91-86.
According to the team, he will undergo conservative treatment and the approximate recovery time is three weeks, which means he will miss couple of Euroleague games against Real Madrid and Alba Berlin.
This season Kevin Punter's averaging 16.5 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists in the Euroleague, helping his team to reach 14-12 record, currently good for ninth in the standings.
