Joan Penarroya announced that the team is still looking for a point guard, after losing Laprovitola and later Raul Neto to injuries.
Barcelona’s head coach Joan Penarroya talked to the Spanish media before their game against Asvel in Round 23 in the Euroleague. He mentioned that Barca is still looking for a new point guard after Raul Neto failed to do so due to reoccurring injuries.

Three and a half months ago our vital player for the team Nicolas Laprovittola got injured until the end of the season, we found a replacement, but we had all the bad luck in the world (Raul Neto was injured on his debut) and from there nothing has changed,” Penarroya confessed.
Barcelona per reports, already had an agreement with a new point guard Thomas Heurtel earlier this month, but the agreement was canceled by the club.
Even without a reinforcement at the point guard position, Barcelona is holding on strong to a playoff spot in the Euroleague with a 13-9 record.
