Nikola Mirotic gave high praise to Zach LeDay, explaining why he enjoys so much playing alongside him.
As EA7 Emporio Armani Milan count three straight wins and nine in their last 12 EuroLeague outings, Nikola Mirotic is also posting some great numbers.
The Montenegrin forward is averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest, while shooting 40.2% from distance. Ahead of the game against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade for Round 22, Mirotic spoke extremely highly of Zach LeDay, who arrived in Milan this summer from the Serbian club.
"When you play with Zach LeDay, who opens up space for you, who makes you feel and play better on the court, it's always easy. That's why I always thank my teammates and coaches," Mirotic explained, following Milan's 100-68 win over ALBA Berlin on Tuesday night.
The two of them combined for 39 points, 11 rebounds and 8/13 3-point shooting, with Mirotic posting 21 points and the American forward adding 18.
"It's the best thing that has happened to me, honestly," Mirotic continued.
"We achieve so much together every day, not only in games but also in practice. It's fantastic. I am overjoyed that we are teammates."
