Sarunas Jasikevicius was ejected in Fenerbahce's EuroLeague game against Partizan after receiving consecutive technical fouls for disputing a no-call on a Nigel Hayes-Davis shot.
Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius was ejected during the EuroLeague Round 18 game against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.
The Lithuanian coach received two technical fouls in a row with 5:56 remaining in the fourth quarter, as Fenerbahce trailed 63-75 on the road.
The incident occurred following a missed call on a Nigel Hayes-Davis two-point attempt.
Jasikevicius believed Hayes-Davis had been fouled when an opponent made contact with his hand, but the referees did not blow the whistle. Frustrated, Jasikevicius angrily stepped on the court and confronted one of the officials, leading to his ejection.
Fenerbahce ended up losing 81-90.
The Turkish team is now on a three-game losing streak. Additionally, their Round 17 game against Paris Basketball was canceled.
