Virtus Segafredo Bologna / Schedule
Banchi had been with the team since September 15, 2023, but parted ways with the club after their recent loss to ALBA Berlin in EuroLeague Round 13.
Ivanovic makes his return to the EuroLeague after a stint with Baskonia during the 2023-24 season, which ended with his dismissal following the team's failure to reach the ACB League playoffs and a 3-0 elimination by Real Madrid in the EuroLeague playoffs.
This was Ivanovic's fourth term with Baskonia; he previously coached the team from 2000 to 2005, 2008 to 2012, and 2019 to 2021.
At Virtus, Ivanovic takes over a team currently struggling in the EuroLeague, sitting at the bottom of the standings with a record of two wins and 11 losses. However, the team has shown better form in the Italian League (LBA), where they are in third place with seven wins and two losses.
