Willy Hernangomez has had a shaky start to the season so far. He will be left out of the rotation in the upcoming EuroLeague game.
According to Marc Mundet from Gigantes, Hernangomez wasn't registered for the Round 8 FC Barcelona matchup against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and is set to be a healthy scratch.
Joel Parra will replace Hernangomez and will make his EuroLeague debut after having previously been sidelined due to a foot injury.
Hernangomez has been averaging 7.6 points and 3.4 rebounds for 7.6 PIR this season. It is a stark contract to his previous season's numbers, when he registered the averages of 11 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 12.7 PIR in the EuroLeague.
With five wins and two losses, Barca currently share 3rd place in the EuroLeague standings.
