The French Basketball League (LNB) released the annual financial report, which highlighted the changes in teams' budgets, including three EuroLeague teams - AS Monaco, LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, and Paris Basketball.

The EuroLeague's newcomers, Paris Basketball, took matters seriously and more than doubled their budget, BeBasket cites league's documents. The French capital team's budget went from €9.25 million to €18.885 million.

AS Monaco also increased their budget, going from €27.51 million to €29.375 million and marking a 6.8% increase in year-over-year numbers.

ASVEL, meanwhile, were one of only four teams in the LNB who decreased their budget compared to the 2023-24 season. Largely due to the struggles of one of the club's main sponsors, SKWEEK, the budget decreased from €21 million to €16.22 million, a 22.8% decrease.

Paris surpassed ASVEL in the player payrolls as well, as the reigning EuroCup winners will dedicate €5.625 million for salaries, while ASVEL will allocate €5.584 million.

Monaco remain the kings of salaries, spending more than double that of Paris or ASVEL, as €14.747 million will be spent on paying the players of the Roca Team.
