“It’s always nice to play in this kind of atmosphere. It wasn’t easy, but we managed to concentrate and execute our plan to the end.” he emphasized.

Vesely outlined that the team’s strategy focused on disrupting Crvena Zvezda's cohesive style of play.

“The plan was to stop their team game, and we succeeded in doing that,” he explained.

He acknowledged that some of his teammates were experiencing the intensity of the arena for the first time, but those with previous experience helped prepare them for the challenges.

“We made sure to prepare them for everything they could expect here,” he added.

Reflecting on Crvena Zvezda's recent performance, which included a three-game winning streak.

“I was aware of their quality, but their strong start was a bit surprising,” Vesely stated.

He predicted that the team has what it takes to contend for playoff positions under coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos.

“I think they can make the playoffs. They have brought in good players this year, and their start has been impressive,” he said.

Currently, Barcelona holds a record of three wins and one loss after four EuroLeague games, placing them second in the standings, just behind Crvena Zvezda.

“This was primarily a mental battle, more than a physical one. You cannot relax here; a few three-pointers can completely change the atmosphere,” he concluded.

The team will next face LDLC ASVEL in their fifth EuroLeague matchup in six days at their home arena in Blaugrana, where they will be expected to capitalize on their status as favorites.
