Saben Lee tied the Basketball Champions League's single-game scoring record with 43 points. Keifer Sykes previously held it.
For more than five years, Keifer Sykes held the record for the most points scored in a single Basketball Champions League (BCL) game after dropping 43 points for Sidigas Avellino against Bandirma in January 2019. On Wednesday, Manisa Basket guard Saben Lee joined Sykes at the top.

Lee, who is reportedly close to joining Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, was unstoppable throughout the game. He shot 10-of-17 from inside the arc, sank 3-of-4 three-pointers --two of them in clutch moments -- and made 14-of-18 free throws, finishing with a total of 43 points.
He also became the first player in BCL history to score 30 or more points in each of his first two games after putting up 36 against UCAM Murcia the previous week.
"We tried everything to stop Lee, and he still scored 43 points," FMP coach Sasa Nikitovic said plainly.
In addition to his scoring outburst, the Manisa star added four rebounds, three assists, and three steals and didn't commit a single turnover in his 35 minutes on the floor.
Lee's performance powered Manisa Basket to a 2-0 start, with two road victories giving the team plenty of momentum as they head into a stretch of home games in Turkey.
