Kevin Punter names Partizan as the Top 8 contenders in the 2024-25 EuroLeague.
After three seasons with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, Kevin Punter will not begin the EuroLeague season in their jersey. Instead, he will be suiting up for FC Barcelona.
Despite the loud summer move, the former Partizan captain hasn't forgotten his old club. Ahead of the new EuroLeague season, he predicted they would be playoff participants.
"I see Partizan making the playoffs. I see them making Top 8, and that's all I can say," Punter told SportKlub.
Punter won the ABA League title with Partizan in 2023. That same season, he nearly helped the team reach the EuroLeague Final Four, but they ultimately fell short in a narrow series against Real Madrid.
In preparation for the 2024-25 season, Partizan have welcomed 14 new players, with only Balsa Koprivica remaining from last year's squad. The club has also set a record budget of €23 million for the season.
