The game took place in front of a sold-out crowd at Arena Zagreb, Croatia, a country with a rich basketball tradition.
Musa praised the event's organization but expressed disappointment after the match that Zagreb no longer has a team in the EuroLeague.
"Vanja [Marinkovic] and I were talking about how it's a shame that Zagreb doesn't have a EuroLeague team, and it deserves one," Musa stressed, via Grujica Kelic of Mozzart Sport. "You should enjoy basketball here. It's really nice, this city deserves a EuroLeague team and serious players because we saw what Zagreb can do, and I hope that it will happen soon."
Cedevita Zagreb, the last team from the city to play in the EuroLeague, made its final appearance during the 2015-16 season.
The most prominent name, Cibona Zagreb, meanwhile, last appeared in the EuroLeague in the 2010-11 campaign. After that, the team lost its EuroLeague license, ending a long run that began with the league's formation. Cibona competed in EuroCup for the next two seasons but failed to win any games.
Founded in 1946, Cibona won two EuroLeague championships (1984-85, 1985-86). The team now competes in the Adriatic League and the Croatian League.
Cibona has had serious financial issues in recent years, and this summer, it managed to escape liquidation again.
