Legendary Slovenian point guard Goran Dragic is set to bid farewell to basketball tonight at the "Night of the Dragon" event, taking place at Stozice Arena in Ljubljana at 20:00 CET.

Dragic has invited numerous basketball stars to join him for this special occasion, including Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic.

In an interview with SportKlub this morning, Dragic emphasized the significant impact that coaches Aleksandar Dzikic and Igor Kokoskov had on his career.

"Dzikic was my coach at Olimpija in 2007, and after that season, I left for the NBA. He gave me everything I needed to become a better player and prepare for the best league in the world," Dragic said of Dzikic. He also shared his thoughts on Kokoskov:

"Everyone knows what Kokoskov means to me and my family. We spent four years together with the Phoenix Suns when I was drafted, and we won EuroBasket gold in 2017. So for me, he's not just a coach; he's family."

Dragic enjoyed a 15-year career in the NBA, playing for the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and Milwaukee Bucks. During his time with the Miami Heat, he won the Most Improved Player award and was selected as an All-Star in 2018.
