The Olympic Basketball Tournament playoffs continue with a thrilling Serbia vs. Australia matchup in Paris at the Bercy Arena, tipping off at 14:30 CEST.

Serbia enters the game on a high note, boasting two straight victories against Puerto Rico (107-66) and South Sudan (96-85). However, they faced a heavy defeat in their first group-stage game, losing to Team USA by 26 (84-110).

Australia, on the other hand, narrowly avoided elimination in the last round of the group stage, thanks to a favorable result in the Canada-Spain game.

The Boomers started the Paris 2024 Olympics strong with a win against Spain (92-80) but then suffered two defeats against Canada (83-93) and Greece (71-77).

The history between these two teams adds extra excitement to this quarterfinal. Back in the 2016 Rio Olympics, Australia comfortably defeated Serbia 95-80 in the group stage.

However, when they met again in the semifinals, Serbia delivered a defensive masterpiece, holding Australia to just 14 first-half points and eventually winning 87-61 to reach the championship game. That night, Nikola Jokic had 9 points and 11 rebounds.

The Serbia-Australia Olympic quarterfinal will be aired live on RTS in Serbia, Channel 9 in Australia, and Peacock in the U.S.
