The 23-year-old has gained experience at the highest European level, playing in the EuroLeague for the past three seasons with Partizan and, most recently, Fenerbahce.

Madar, the EuroLeague Rising Star for the 2022-23 season, was selected in the second round (47th pick) of the 2020 NBA Draft but remained in Europe.

"Bayern is a historic club that everyone in Europe knows," Madar told the official Bayern website. "I will show this club the appropriate respect and give 100 percent in every game so that we can win as many games as possible."

Last season, Madar averaged 4.1 points, 1.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 4.6 PIR over 31 EuroLeague games with Fenerbahce.

During his time at Partizan, under the guidance of coach Zeljko Obradovic, he solidified his status as one of the most promising playmaking talents. He played an important role in winning the 2023 Adriatic League and averaged 6.6 points per game in the EuroLeague playoffs against Real Madrid the same year.
