Danilo Gallinari's injury in Italy's loss to Puerto Rico wasn't serious and the veteran forward will be good to go in the OQT semi-final against Lithuania.

In the 80-69 defeat against Puerto Rico, injury was added to insult for the Italian NT. Danilo Gallinari, who seemed to have suffered an injury towards the end of the game, The player left the court visibly suffering from a problem in his leg.

Gallo was the best of the Azzurri in the defeat, with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists. Despite the early concern, the NBA forward is expected to play in Saturday's OQT semi-final against Lithuania (22:00 CET) in San Juan. 

"I don't know if it's serious or not," were the words of the Italian coach Gianmarco Pozzecco on BasketNews.

Following the medical tests, a slight trauma to the right knee emerged which will not prevent the player from being available to the technical staff, according to information from the Italian federation.
