LNB Pro A has signed a five-season broadcasting deal with DAZN that will run until June 2029. The deal includes coverage of games and special events like the All-Star Game and Leaders Cup.
The French Basketball League (LNB Pro A) has secured a new broadcaster for the next five seasons, partnering with the DAZN platform.
This agreement will begin with the upcoming season and run until June 2029. The British platform, aiming to expand its presence in France, will also cover the cost of producing the games.
Under the new deal, LNB games will be broadcast at the following times (via L'Equipe):
- One game on Friday evenings at 8 p.m.
- Two games on Saturdays, one at 6 p.m. and another at 8 p.m.
- Two games on Sundays, one at 5 p.m. and another at 7 p.m.
Additionally, the LNB All-Star Game, the Leaders Cup, and a new tournament dedicated to young talents will also be aired on DAZN.
This partnership comes as a relief for the clubs and the league, which had been without a broadcaster since the early termination of their contract with L'Equipe channel and the Skweek platform last April.
L'Equipe, which sublicensed the matches to Skweek, sent a termination letter to FedCom Media, the publisher of the digital platform, due to several months of unpaid match production costs. This termination ended the deal initially signed with the LNB until 2030.
