Valencia Basket made the first off-season signing after announcing that Nate Sestina joins the club.
According to the club's announcement, Sestina signed a 2-year deal that will run through the 2025-26 season.
BasketNews reported about the agreement between Sestina and Valencia on June 13.
The 27-year-old, 2.05m stretch big had an option in his contract to stay with Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul for one more season but opted to move to Spain.
Valencia's participation in the EuroLeague or EuroCup next year is uncertain, as they do not have a permanent spot in the top competition and will need to apply for a wild card.
The EuroLeague's board is expected to make decisions regarding participants for the 2024-25 season this week.
Sestina concluded his first EuroLeague season with Fenerbahce by helping them reach the EuroLeague Final Four.
His standout performance included a 16-point game on 4 of 5 three-point shooting in Game 1, which stole a home-court advantage against Monaco and propelled the Turkish team to a 3-2 series victory, averaging 6.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 17 minutes per game.
In his first Final Four appearance, Sestina averaged 9.0 points on 54.5% shooting from the field and 3.0 rebounds in 18 minutes per game.
The American big man averaged 3.6 points and 1.5 rebounds in 11 minutes per game throughout the 2023-24 EuroLeague season.
In the Turkish league, Sestina averaged 9.6 points (42.7% 3FG), 5.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 24 minutes per game.
Before his EuroLeague stint, Sestina played for the Long Island Nets, Hapoel Holon, Merkezefendi, and Turk Telekom.
