The Dominican guard is expected to join the Valencia team after an impressive season with MoraBanc Andorra.
Montero scored 35 points in just 21 minutes against Valencia in a blowout win for MoraBanc, 99-71, in the last ACB regular season game.
The 1.88-meter guard had seven more 20+ point games in the ACB and finished the season as the second-best scorer in the competition, with 15.7 points per game, just behind Markus Howard.
He also averaged 3.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and had an efficiency rating of 20.0, finishing second behind Chima Moneke in this category.
Andorra finished 11th in the 2023-24 ACB season.
Last summer, Montero had a promising FIBA World Cup 2023 performance, averaging 9.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists for the Dominican Republic national team.
