Real Madrid stand as the top-performing EuroLeague team in the round-robin era, and their record-breaking regular-season performance in 2023-24 further solidified their status as a dominant force in European basketball, BasketNews research shows.

BasketNews conducted a study that provided a picture of the EuroLeague landscape during the round-robin era, highlighting the top-performing teams and those needing improvement.

The study evaluated the teams' regular-season record, playoff performance, and Final Four appearances starting with the 2016-17 season.

Madrid currently ranks as the sole active EuroLeague team to have won the highest number of games in the regular season, boasting a winning percentage of 70%.

Throughout six seasons, Real won an impressive 174 of their 248 games, securing a place in the playoffs each season. While CSKA has a better winning percentage, at 74.3%, they are currently suspended and have participated in three fewer seasons than Madrid.
