Dusan Alimpijevic will continue to serve Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul as the team's head coach.
Besiktas Emlakjet Istanbul fans can look forward to another season at the helm of Dusan Alimpijevic.
In an interview with Turkish television, the president of Besiktas's basketball executive board, Ozkan Arseven, stated that Alimpijevic would remain the team's coach.
"When we signed Dusan Alimpijevic, we signed a contract that will continue in the next season. Our coach is happy here with his family," Arseven said, revealing a detail about Alimpijevic's contract.
"He is having a good season. He is a very exceptional character. He has embraced Besiktas," the executive said about the Serbian tactician.
Arseven also noted that the club and Alimpijevic together have started planning the roster for the upcoming year.
In his first and only season with Besiktas, Dusan Alimpijevic became the third-ranked team in the Turkish Basketball Super League. They also went on an impressive run in the EuroCup, ultimately falling in the last game in the semifinal series vs. Mincidelice JL Bourg en Bresse.
