According to an announcement by the club, Mitchell will be out versus JL Bourg because of an injury he sustained in the semifinals' second game, which ended with an 82-71 victory for Besiktas.

While the announcement does not specify Mitchell's injury, it probably is related to Mitchell's scary fall and the blow he received to his head. With 3 minutes and 57 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Mitchell fell and seemed like he was unconscious on the floor.

Thankfully, he was escorted out of the court, and no further negative remarks were shared about his situation. Still, it is entirely possible that the club decided to place him on trauma protocol and not risk him in a potentially life-threatening situation.

The team did not provide further updates about Mitchell's injury. However, the team will sorely miss his presence in the do-or-die game against JL Bourg.

This season, Mitchell has been one of the best players for Besiktas. In the EuroCup, the forward is averaging 12.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. He also made it to BasketNews' top 5 players to watch in the EuroCup semis list.
