MHP Riesen LudwigsburgYagiz Sabuncuoglu from Sports Digitale reports that Galatasaray unilaterally terminated Mitrovic's contract after he was involved in a conflict with the team's fans.
Galatasaray had a 25-point lead (80-55) in the 3rd quarter but lost the game 93-96.
After the game finished, Mitrovic was also angered with the journalists when he was asked if he thinks about resigning.
"I don't see any reason for resigning. I don't know why you ask me that. That is very interesting to me. This is the first time I've heard of a question like this at a conference," Mitrovic responded.
