Galatasaray EKMAS decided to part ways with head coach Zvezdan Mitrovic following the loss against JDA Bourgogne Dijon.

Yagiz Sabuncuoglu from Sports Digitale reports that Galatasaray unilaterally terminated Mitrovic's contract after he was involved in a conflict with the team's fans.

Galatasaray had a 25-point lead (80-55) in the 3rd quarter but lost the game 93-96.

After the game finished, Mitrovic was also angered with the journalists when he was asked if he thinks about resigning.

"I don't see any reason for resigning. I don't know why you ask me that. That is very interesting to me. This is the first time I've heard of a question like this at a conference," Mitrovic responded.
