Moses Wright joined Olympiacos Piraeus as a mid-season move to strengthen the team's ailing big men rotation.

Position: PF
Age: 25
Height: 203 cm
Weight: 103 kg
Birth place: North Carolina, United States of America

According to an announcement by the club, Wright joined Olympiacos on a deal of 1.5 years that will run until June 2025.

The center had made quite an impression with a brief stint in Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket, a team competing in the Turkish Basketball Super League.

In 5 games, the center averaged 26.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 27.4 PIR. He accumulated these numbers while shooting 62.5% on two-point field goals.

Our Senior Staff Writer, Donatas Urbonas, first wrote about Wright's move to Olympiacos.

Olympiacos's move is no surprise, as coach Georgios Bartzokas had stated that they were on the market for a center after the long-term injuries of Moustapha Fall and Nikola Milutinov, particularly.

The Serbian center will have to undergo surgery and is expected to miss two months of action. On the other hand, Fall's return can happen after two weeks.
