Lorenzo Brown has informed the Spanish Basketball Federation of his willingness to join the national team for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Valencia, scheduled from July 2 to 7, according to Jesus Sanchez of MARCA.

He aims to contribute to the national team's efforts in securing qualification for the Paris Olympic Games.

The 33-year-old missed the FIBA World Cup 2023 due to injury, and Spain was eliminated in the Second Round.

After acquiring Spanish citizenship, Brown had previously led Spain to a gold medal at FIBA EuroBasket 2022.

Maccabi guard made the All-Tournament Team after averaging 15.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 7.6 assists, and 1.2 steals over nine games.
