Last week, Real Madrid faced LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne without four key players: Mario Hezonja, Guerschon Yabusele, Gabriel Deck, and Rudy Fernandez.

Heading into this week's double-round action, the situation seems to be improving.

Hezonja is ready to play, and Yabusele, who has been sidelined since EuroLeague Round 9 with a long-term knee injury, is nearing a return.

"Yabusele is ready to get back into the swing of things. He had a good training session today and can enter the court at any time if necessary," coach Chus Mateo said of the French forward, via Pilar Casado of Basket en Movistar.

"Deck is making progress in his recovery, but he's not ready to play at the moment. As for Rudy, he still has some discomfort," Mateo added on other injured players.

Real Madrid is set to travel to Barcelona for the EuroLeague El Clasico face-off on Wednesday, followed by hosting Anadolu Efes on Friday.
