One of FC Bayern Munich's key players, Vladimir Lucic made his return to the basketball court after a long-term injury.
FC Bayern Munich's Vladimir Lucic is back after sustaining a long-term injury starting last year.
The Serbian forward made his first official game appearance since April against ratiopharm Ulm, which Bayern won with a score of 95-80.
Bayern's captain played with 8 points and perfect shooting from the field and was able to celebrate his return with a victory against last year's BBL champion.
Lucic spent the last few months plagued with injuries, as he missed rounds 11 to 25 in the EuroLeague's 2022-23 season and had an injury relapse after the end of the regular season.
As a result, he also missed Serbia's successful 2023 FIBA World Cup journey, where his countrymen made it to the final.
A mainstay of European basketball, Lucic played with averages of 8.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in the 2022-23 EuroLeague season.
