After capturing a win against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in the first game of the EuroLeague double week, FC Bayern Munich will play without one of their stars against Olympiacos Piraeus.
Serge Ibaka will be sidelined and will not appear on the court. The veteran big man will be rested ahead of the German Cup matchup this upcoming weekend.
In addition to Ibaka, Vladimir Lucic, Andreas Obst, and Leandro Bolmaro will be sidelined with injuries.
After coming back from more than a decade in the NBA, Ibaka has been solid in the EuroLeague, averaging 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds for 16.2 PIR in the tournament.
Bayern will compete against Telekom Baskets Bonn in the German Cup quarterfinal on Saturday, December 10th.
With six wins and six losses, Bayern share 9th place in the EuroLeague standings.
