Galatasaray EKMAS Istanbul strengthened its roster with the addition of Klemen Prepelic.

The transfer was rumored a few days ago and the club made it official today.

The Turkish team has failed to make a strong start to the season, having a record of 1-3 in the Basketball Champions League and a 4-6 record in the Turkish Basketball Super League and they were on the market to strengthen their guard squad.

Prepelic's contract is for 1+1 years. He will join a guard rotation made up of Corey Walden, Jonah Radebaugh, Dee Bost, Ismet Akpinar, and Bugrahan Tuncer.

The Slovenian sharpshooter, who has played for EuroLeague teams like Union Olimpija, Valencia Basket, and Real Madrid in the past, was part of Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana until very recently in the 2023-24 season.

While Cedevita has struggled immensely so far, having no wins in the EuroCup, Prepelic shined with averages of 16.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 8.7 assists in 6 games.
