Brown revealed he's seen a couple of Jabari Parker's games with Barcelona. The Celtics star said Parker was one of the best teammates he's had.
Boston Celtics star guard Jaylen Brown is a quiet FC Barcelona supporter. Having visited the famous Camp Nou stadium in 2022, he was asked about the club again.
Following the In-Season Tournament game against the Toronto Raptors, after which he heavily criticized the court, Brown was reminded about his former teammate Jabari Parker, who is currently playing for Barca in the EuroLeague.
Parker spent the end part of the 2020-21 season and the 2021-22 season with the Celtics.
"That's great. I've seen maybe a couple of games. Jabari was one of my favorite teammates I think that I've had since I've been here," Brown said. "Being able to develop the relationship, he's just a great guy. I wish him well. Barcelona is a place I got to spend some time not this past summer but the summer before. I'm rooting for him for sure."
Asked about the football team, Brown wasn't that confident anymore.
"I haven't followed the soccer team as much this year, but I'll check them out now that you've mentioned it," he said to the reporter.
