After beginning the match in the starting five, the 30-year-old left the court early after spraining his ankle. The swelling was severe enough for the player not to return, head coach Alex Mumbru said after the game.

"He sprained his ankle on the first play, and it started swelling right away. It didn't make sense to risk subbing him back in. We've been playing with Jared [Harper] at the 1, something that disrupted our game plans a little. We had to change the way we played a little."

"It was important because of the change in the rotation, but it was not decisive," Mumbru said about the game, which his team lost 76-80. "With Jones, we would not have been down in the first quarter. It seems that he has a sprain, but his foot has become like a boot."

Jones leads the team in assists (4.7) and steals (1.8) and is second in points (11.3) and PIR (13.2) in the EuroLeague.
