On October 20, the American-South Sudanese guard was waived by the Chicago Bulls while the team was trying to finalize its roster.
Jones had a notable career in the G-League, where he became MVP and the top scorer in the season of 2022-23, playing for the Windy City Bulls, the G-League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls.
His NBA career has so far been not as stellar, as he is averaging 2 points in just 12 contests.
Lastly, his appearance in the World Cup was spectacular. Averaging a double-double of 20.4 points and 10.6 assists in 5 games with his team, Carlik Jones was arguably one of the best guards in the FIB competition, leading the tournament in assists.
