The president of the Cyprus Basketball Federation, Andreas Mouzouridis, has announced that Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, Hapoel Holon, Hapoel Galil Elion, Bnei Herzliya, and Ness Ziona will play their upcoming home games in Cyprus, Josh Halickman reports.

Maccabi is already set on the solution. Meanwhile, the four other teams will have to wait for FIBA to approve the move per the Israel Basketball Federation's request.

According to previous reports, Cyprus was one of three possible destinations for Israeli clubs to hold their home matches alongside Serbia (Belgrade) and Greece (Athens).

Interestingly, Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem, a team that also plays in the Basketball Champions League (BCL) with Hapoel Holon, was not mentioned, although their home game against Galatasaray Ekmas Istanbul is scheduled earlier.

Their preferred destination is Belgrade, Omri Mannheim from Sport5 reports.
