Here, you will find 10 players who could make a significant leap this upcoming season, recover after a sluggish 2022-23 campaign, make a big influence on their new respective teams, deliver a splendid debut, or just entertain European basketball fans by shattering the off-court drama.

Yago dos Santos | G | Crvena Zvezda

The 24-year-old Brazilian has showcased his leadership skills not only in the EuroCup but also on the international stage at the FIBA World Cup 2023. Now, he's gearing up for his biggest challenge yet -- EuroLeague debut with Crvena Zvezda.

Dos Santos is joining a stacked backcourt lineup featuring players like Milos Teodosic, Shabazz Napier, and Nemanja Nedovic, among others.

For him, the decision to join Red Star was easy. And as someone would expect, the first person he turned to was Facundo Campazzo.

"I really like him. I know him personally, and I like his style of play. He's a great friend. We talked about the team," Yago said in an interview with BasketNews.

Even though the Argentinian point guard was heading to the exit door, he did take the time to offer some valuable advice to the newcomer. The two share a similar style of play since they both have to overcome their small stature (1.78 meters).
