In a significant setback for Team USA, Paolo Banchero, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Brandon Ingram will be sidelined for today's FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 bronze-medal game against Canada.

Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press reports that all three players are unavailable due to illness.

This marks the second consecutive game that Ingram will be absent from, as he wasn't part of the 12-man squad during Team USA's disappointing loss to Germany in the semifinals. He was dealing with upper respiratory illness.

The bronze-medal clash is scheduled to kick off on Sunday at 10:30 CET, which translates to 16:30 local time. For fans on the east coasts of the U.S. and Canada, the early morning tip-off will be at 4:30 AM.
