Slovenia remained unbeaten in the Group F of the FIBA World Cup after defeating Cape Verde with the final score of 92-77 (24-21, 21-17, 24-17, 23-20)

After a close first half, in which Cape Verde was able to limit the distance, Slovenia took full control of the game in the third quarter and was able to increase the lead even more in the final period.

Despite some good defensive moments, Cape Verde struggled to find offensive consistency throughout the game. Walter Tavares flirted with the double-double and Betinho Gomes provided some scoring punch but that wasn't enough for coach Trovoada's side.

Slovenia superstar Luka Doncic, after a complicated first half in terms of shooting, ended the game close to a triple-double with 19 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds. Klemen Prepelic also had a really good night with 18 points and 7 assists.
