Chaos ensued during the third quarter of a friendly game between Greece and Germany.

In the middle of the third quarter, Georgios Papagiannis and Daniel Theis got into a small conflict during a possession. Both players swatted each other's hands away and then exchanged some words.

Immediately, both Theis and Papagiannis received double fouls and technical fouls. Moments later, the Greek center received another technical from another referee and was ejected.

In the process, Dennis Schroder and the Greek bench received technical fouls as well. When the situation was sorted out, Theis and Lefteris Bochoridis received a double foul just seconds later.

As such, Theis received three fouls and ultimately fouled out in two possessions.

Papagiannis-Theis-Bochoridis chaos:

Earlier in the game, Justus Hollatz got injured after landing on Dinos Mitoglou's foot after attempting a layup. He was helped off the court by the team's medical staff and did not return to the match.

Germany ultimately won the game by a result of 84-71 (20-14, 13-18, 21-13, 20-16).

Schroder (15 PTS, 6 AST) and Theis (15 PTS, 7 REB)were tied for first place in scoring for Germany, Franz Wagner added 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Dinos Mitoglou (16 PTS, 7 REB, 6/13 FG) was the game's leading scorer. Nikos Rogkavopoulos (15 PTS, 3/6 3PT,  5 REB), and Thomas Walkup (12 PTS, 6 AST) were the only other double-digit scorers for Greece.
