The Slovenian national team are scheduled to play against Team USA in Malaga, Spain. However, they will do it without their biggest star.
Luka Doncic will miss the game, the Slovenian Basketball Federation announced.
It is a measure of precaution, the federation writes. Doncic received a blow during the second quarter in Friday's match against Spain. The team doesn't want to leave any chance for the injury to get worse, the statement reads.
Slovenia has previously lost Vlatko Cancar due to an injury.
