Spain will play 5 preparation games before FIBA Basketball World Cup, from August 4 to August 19, facing such teams as Team USA, Slovenia, and Canada.

Spain will play 5 preparation games ahead of the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

Interestingly, the Spaniards will play all their preparation games at home before traveling to Jakarta, Indonesia, where they will play their group games during the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Spain's preparation will last for more than two weeks, starting from August 4 to August 19. During this time, Spain will face such powerhouses as Slovenia, Greece, Team USA, and Canada.

Spain has already announced its extended 16-man roster, which includes Ricky Rubio, Alex Abrines, Willy Hernangomez, Juancho Hernangomez, Santi Aldama, Rudy Fernandez, Sergio Llull, and others.

During the FIBA Basketball World Cup, Spain will play in Group G in Jakarta, Indonesia, and face Iran, Ivory Coast, and Brazil.

If Spain advances to the Second Round, it will meet teams from Group H, consisting of Canada, Latvia, Lebanon, and France.

FIBA Basketball World Cup will take place in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10 and will be hosted by three nations for the first time.
