Following the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, Dimsa underwent a scheduled operation to address a hernia of the abdominal wall, according to the official Zalgiris announcement.

Dimsa had been troubled by such health issues throughout the season.

"These kinds of problems plagued me throughout the season, so after it ended, I decided not to wait and deal with them. The healing is going according to plan, and it does not interfere with the vacation," the 29-year-old said.

Dimsa will need to rest for the next 2-3 weeks before he can resume practicing.

He is expected to arrive on time for the Lithuanian national team's camp, where they will be preparing for the FIBA World Cup 2023.
