Jaron Jackson Jr. and Brandon Ingram will join Team USA for FIBA Basketball World Cup, with the full roster expected to be finalized later in June.

Memphis Grizzlies center Jaren Jackson Jr. and New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram committed to play for Team USA in the upcoming FIBA Basketball World, Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN reports.

According to the report, the final 12-man Team USA roster is expected to be finalized later in June.

This season, Jackson Jr. averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.0 assist per game in 63 appearances.

Ingram finished the regular season averaging 24.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game in 45 appearances.

The World Cup roster will be different from the Olympic team for Paris 2024, but there could be some continuity between the two teams.

Earlier, The Athletic's Shams Charania and Joe Vardon reported that Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota TimberwolvesTyrese Haliburton from the Indiana PacersAustin Reaves from the Los Angeles LakersMikal Bridges from the Brooklyn NetsBobby Portis from the Milwaukee Bucks, and Jalen Brunson from the New York Knicks have also committed to playing for Team USA.

FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will take place from August 25 to September 10, 2023.

Team USA's training camp will begin on August 3 in Las Vegas, followed by an exhibition game against Puerto Rico on August 7.

They will then launch a two-week tour in Spain and the United Arab Emirates before starting World Cup play on August 26 against New Zealand.
