Virtus announced that Awudu Abass will miss at least three weeks of action due to a thigh injury.
Virtus Segafredo Bologna will have to finish the EuroLeague season without Awudu Abass.
The Italian team announced that the 30-year-old forward suffered a thigh injury during the game against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Virtus have already been eliminated from EuroLeague playoffs, meaning Abass' season in Europe is over.
This season Abass averaged 6.7 points, 1.0 rebound, and 5.7 PIR per game over 7 EuroLeague appearances.
Abass made his return to action in February after a 16-month break due to a tear to the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
Virtus also announced that Milos Teodosic, Alessandro Pajola, and Isaia Cordinier continue their rehab and won't be available for at least another two weeks.
