The big man officially changed his agent. Having been previously represented by Marios Olympios from Arete Europe, Papagiannis headed over to Network Sports International (NSI), which is headlined by agent Nikos Spanos.
"NSI is excited to announce that George Papagiannis, one of the best centers of the EuroLeague and captain of Panathinaikos Athens, has joined its family! The time is now "Big Papa"," the agency's statement reads.
NSI currently represents multiple EuroLeague players and coaches, most notably Dimitris Itoudis, Cory Higgins, and Mike James.
Papagiannis' deal with Panathinaikos comes to an end after the 2022-23 season. According to Antonis Kalkavouras from Gazzetta.gr, the center had a beef with the former head coach Dejan Radonjic, making the big man rethink his future with the club.
The 25-year-old is averaging 8.1 points and 5.5 rebounds for 10.7 PIR in the EuroLeague this season.
